Supervision

At Fostering Futures we provide supervision for a range of professionals both individually and in group settings, including psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors and social workers. Whether you work with children, adolescents, adults, or families or you are a supervisor yourself, with our varied experience, we will be able to provide you with professional guidance. Clinical Supervision can look at explore client work drawing upon psychological theory to inform social work, or for teams where there are systemic challenges.

In supervision our aim is to support you in achieving your goals and to reflect on your practice. We will agree what you would like to focus on in supervision and we will regularly review this. In being your supervisor we will draw upon our clinical experience and our up to date research knowledge of evidence-based practice. We have all attended an accredited supervisor’s training at a tertiary level and continue our own supervision. In our practice we adhere to the Code of Ethics for Psychologists as set out by the New Zealand Board of Psychologists.
